College of Health Sciences in Philadelphia, USA Renamed in Honor of Mr. Marvin Samson (Member of the Board of Emcure).
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia's board of trustees has approved changing the name of its College of Health Sciences to the Samson College of Health Sciences in honor of Marvin Samson, a longtime friend, honorary alumnus, and trustee of the University.
"Through the naming of the Samson College of Health Sciences, I cannot think of a better way to express the University's gratitude to Marvin for his support and dedication," said University President Dr. Philip P. Gerbino.
"As I see it, the most important job of the present is to educate future leaders in and providers of healthcare. We, in the greater Philadelphia area, are blessed with some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, and I am exceptionally proud to be associated with University of the Sciences. Having the College of Health Sciences bear my name is an indescribable honor, and I look forward to seeing its graduates make significant contribution to the well-being of our community and beyond," Samson said. A world-renowed leader in injectable manufacturing and delivery system, Mr. Samson has founded several innovative companies. We are proud to have Mr. Samson on the board of Emcure.
