EMCURE LAUNCHES NEUROSCIENCE DIVISION

On 2nd January 2010, Emcure stepped into the world of Neuropsychiatry with a grand inauguration held at the lawns of the marketing office. Neuro/ CNS is the 9th largest therapeutic segment (per IMSORG) growing at the rate of 13%. As the market shifts to chronic therapies, we hope that our foray in this segment will be a significant growth driver for the company.

Well known Psychiatrist of the city Dr. Vidyadhar Watve graced the occasion by being the Chief Guest and inaugurating Emcure Neuroscience Division. Prior to this, there was a CME organized by Emcure in association with the Pune Psychiatrists' Association on 1st of January, 2010 at Le Meridian, Pune. This was attended by about 72 doctors and the highlight was the talk by Dr. Chittaranjan Andrade, well known psychiatrist and academician.
