Emcure NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES.

2010 heralded the launch of a blockbuster in Pain Management from Shweiz - Proxym-XT a combination of S - Etodolac 200 mg plus Paracetamol 500 mg -XTra Power and XcellenT Safety. Proxym XT being a chiral formulation is being promoted through CMEs and scientific sessions in various Orthopedic Conferences. We had a strong presence at APICON, Jaipur from 7th-10th Jan'10 & at Poona Orthopedic Society Annual Conference (POSAC) at Pune on 27th Feb'10.


Shweiz also launched Ferri-D (Iron Dextran Injections) in Pre-Filled Syringe. This is the first of its kind Parenteral Iron in Pre-Filled Syringes.


Nucron launched Metpure-XL and Atorec as Monthly Compliance Pack (MCP) of 30 Tablets each. Internationally antihypertensive and lipid lowering medicines are presented in such packs.


Metpure IR - Metpure-XL has been available in extended release form for chronic therapy, we are entering acute care with the launch of Metpure IR Tablets in two dosage forms, Metpure IR & Metpure IR 50. Metpure -IR is indicated for treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction in the first 48 hours and for other Acute situations that require a immediate release of Beta Blocker.

Shweiz launched LIVIVE (L-ornithine L-aspartate) for the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy a complex, potentially reversible neuropsychiatric condition that occurs as a consequence of acute or chronic liver disease. It is characterized by changes of personality, consciousness, behavior and neuromuscular function.This occurs due to improper metabolism of toxic Ammonia. How LIVIVE helps is, it converts toxic ammonia to non toxic urea.
It also launched SERTIVE (Levosulpiride) to treat functional dyspepsia (indigestion) and diabetic gastroparesis-a complication that occurs from neuropathy of the stomach nerve (called the "vagus nerve"). This causes digestive difficulties as the food starts to move too slowly through the stomach.
