Emcure’s domestic marketing activity commenced in 1995 and in the short span that has elapsed, we have risen to be ranked amongst the top 20 Indian pharmaceutical companies. The Company has demonstrated strong product management and marketing skills. Rapid product introductions and launching of innovative products such as chiral formulations has fuelled growth in the domestic market. Emcure has a large number of product introductions to its credit and has used innovative marketing strategies to drive growth.

An extensive infrastructure of 5 regional offices, a national distribution network and cold storage facilities gives us the distinct advantage of catering to all corners of the country.

Today, Emcure's brands reach over 100,000 pharmacies and are detailed regularly to doctors through over 200,000 doctor visits every month.

The high powered Medical Advisory Committee chaired by Dr. R.P. Soonawala, India’s eminent gynecologist guides Emcure in its endeavours to add value to the medical practitioner and his patients. The Emcure Medical Advisory Board comprises of luminaries from the medical profession in fields such as Gynecology, Oncology, Cardiology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Pediatrics, HIV/AIDS and Haematology.

 

International Presence


Building on inherent manufacturing and marketing strengths, Emcure ventured into Exports in the year 2000 and a separate International Division was formed. The International Division at Emcure is staffed by an experienced set of professionals with hands-on experience in developing new markets. The success of exports from Emcure is evident from the number of products already registered and under registration across the various continents.

Currently Emcure products are available in more than   65 countries across Asia, Africa, CIS, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. An on-field direct sales presence in key markets helps Emcure generate demand, create markets and stay in touch with the end consumer. Responsible for Anti-Retroviral business and Corporate Social Responsibility on HIV and AIDS.

A revolutionary thrombolytic that works in 5 seconds and has thrombolised more than 9000 patients till December 2009.

7. Neurosciences :

This is Emcure’s recent entry focusing on Neurology and Psychiatry.

8. Zuventus :

Focuses on General Practitioners, Physicians, Cardiologist, Gynecologist, Paediatrician, General Surgeon, Orthopedic, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Diabetologist.

Emcure’s proprietary pipelines of important chemical entities such as Chiral molecules and other niche products are available for partners to market in countries where they are present. These include Sevelamer Hydrochloride, Ferrous Ascorbate and a range of Chiral molecules.
